The UCSB Community Labor Center was established in June of 2024 to build a sustainable and inclusive economy on the Central Coast. It works to achieve this goal through three primary avenues of work: Strategic research that centers the needs of working people, training and education to empower communities and building the pipeline of students to the labor movement.
