Taylor Colette Jackson is the recipient of the Jeremy D. Friedman Memorial Award, which recognizes outstanding leadership, superior scholarship and contributions to undergraduate life on campus. She is completing her bachelor’s degree in sociology.
“The community that I have built and my chosen family are two of the things I love most about UCSB. I enjoyed taking sociology course relating to globalization, my worldview has expanded significantly. I am currently taking a gap year in the San Francisco Bay area before pursuing my PhD.”
